Join us for a talk exploring the contributions of Calgary’s Black community. From the city’s early days, Black pioneers have helped make Calgary what it is while facing unique challenges.
This talk is presented by Peyton Neustaetder, Historian In Residence with the Calgary Public Library and Heritage Calgary.

This talk is being delivered by the Historical Society of Alberta. This 119-year old organization is dedicated to preserving our shared past. They had their budget eliminated by the Alberta Government this year and we are asking that those attending the talk please consider a donation of between $2 and $25 to help support their work ($25 gets you a tax receipt).
