Chimay: A Four Course Trappist Beer Dinner Experience

It began with twelve monks, two horses, and a patch of soggy forest nobody wanted.

It became one of the most remarkable breweries in the world.

The beer they make is outstanding, but that’s perhaps the least impressive part of the story. This brewery was founded in a monastery and run by monks with the goal of improving life in the surrounding region.

But the Nazis almost destroyed it. And yet it only got better.

Today, it’s one of the world’s most respected brands. And it pairs well with a proper Belgian dinner!

Join our owner and head brewer Nathan and our assistant brewer Quentin for an engaging evening where the history and genre-changing flavours of the beers of Chimay unfold before you on your plate and in your glass. We’ll journey from 1850 to the present and, using beer as and food our guide, explore the history of some of the most famous Belgian beer styles and the science of why they go so well with traditional Belgian fare.

Your ticket gets you a four-course meal paired with four 250ml Chimay beers.

Join us on Thursday, December 3 at 6:30pm.
