Join our brewer for this intimate event and rare chance to sample a range of beers brewed by Trappist monks in Belgium.
During the Middle Ages monks were among a very small group of people who were both literate and (often) trained in science. Because of their scientific approach to brewing and good record keeping, monks brewed the best beer for most of the period from about 1200-1700. Some Trappist monks still brew today, using the proceeds from their breweries to fund their monasteries.
Come try tasting flights (4×120ml / 4 oz pours) of a selection of these beers and learn about the history of monastic brewing in Europe during the Middle Ages.
Your ticket covers entry and one tasting flight (subsequent flights are $16).
